The Weight Watchers plan is a bit different than other plans available.  Their system focuses on counseling, exercise, nutrition and a comprehensive support group instead of deprivation.  One of the best pros is that the point system that this diet plan utilizes makes it relatively easy to eat a balanced meal.  You won’t feel tired, hungry or deprived since you are basically allowed to eat whatever you want as long as you follow their point system guidelines.  Unfortunately, Weight Watchers can become very expensive, whether you take advantage of their physical or online plan.  In addition, some participants have become bored with counting points.  This has been termed as Point Counting Burnout.

There are also many pros and cons associated with the Medi-Fast plan.  The key benefit is that it’s very easy to use since the meals come pre-packaged.  Therefore, it’s extremely simple to use.  This diet gets rid of the tiring, and time consuming, meal preparation process by sending you prepackaged food.  Unfortunately, the main detrimental factor with this program is that digestive problems can sometimes result.  According to a few reviews there is another side effect that, even though it’s not common, can be detrimental, hair loss.  It should be known that kidney disorder patients and pregnant women shouldn’t partake in this diet.

The pros and cons associated with various diet plans can be a help or hindrance to you losing the weight that you want to use.  The best advice is to research any diet plan that you want to use completely.
