Imagine your body as a refrigerator, and the excess fat in your body as sticks of butter stored in that fridge. As long as that refrigerator is cold, that butter is not going anywhere, it is not going to melt or disappear. Now imagine unplugging the fridge, assume that is like your minimal daily activities, it would take quite some time before the butter in the fridge melts totally and turns into liquid. But also imagine that although you unplugged your fridge, you are placing a new stick of cold butter in the fridge every day, so even if the one you placed say, 10 days ago has melted, there is a new one still intact. That is representative of the junk fatty food you keep eating. Now let’s say you are tired today and spent at least half the day in bed, so you re-plugged that fridge and the butter is cold again. How about you stop adding butter and add healthy food? How about changing your body from a fridge to a fat burning furnace?
